In the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, long before the resort was built, this beach site was home to the island’s most popular restaurant, fittingly named The Sands. Today, we continue this proud tradition of fine food and beverages with our signature restaurant and oceanfront bar Four Marlins.
Four Marlins Oceanfront Dining is a contemporary expression of tropical fishing lodges from the 1930’s. We celebrate casual indulgence, fresh-caught fish, locally sourced ingredients, an impressive wine list and thoughtfully crafted cocktails.
Under the culinary expertise of executive chef Kevin Spencer, a passionate and talented chef and master mixologist, Four Marlins is already and award-winning player in Key West’s diverse and vibrant culinary scene.

Who says "You Can't Have It All"? Not us. Here at Four Marlins we dining should be an experience and what better way to share this experience than with our "shareable plates" menu. From a fresh FL Citrus salad, to Grilled Spiny Tail Lobster, Jerk Lamb Chops or Shrimp and Grits to full Yellowtail Escovitch or 1855 Angus Tenderloin and Lobster, you will be delighted.
